Chicago Skyline and Lake Michigan from the Skydeck Live Cam

This live webcam looks northeast from the Skydeck on the 103rd floor of Willis Tower in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The eastern half of the Loop lies below, and Lake Michigan fills the upper part of the frame.

Chicago built its downtown right against the lake, and the boundary is easy to trace from here. The green strip of Grant Park separates the office towers from the shoreline, and the curved breakwaters of Monroe Harbor and DuSable Harbor enclose fields of moored sailboats. Lake Shore Drive runs along the water, Navy Pier reaches out to the right, and the residential towers of Streeterville cluster on the left.

Rooftop mechanical decks, cooling towers and helipads of the surrounding skyscrapers sit directly below the camera, a detail only a viewpoint this high can show.
