Ikuno Korea Town, Osaka Live Cam

This camera looks along a narrow pedestrian lane in Ikuno Korea Town in Osaka, lined with shops and red decorative gate arches. The paved street fills with shoppers on foot, and bicycles stand parked along the shopfronts.

Ikuno Korea Town is formed by the three Miyuki-dori shopping streets in Ikuno Ward, which run about 500 metres from east to west and hold roughly 120 shops. Ikuno is home to one of the largest Korean communities in Japan, and the lane is known for Korean groceries, street food and cosmetics shops. Miyukimori Shrine stands at the edge of the shopping streets.

The camera sits above street level and looks down the lane, so the colourful gates shrink toward the far end while passers-by walk close to the lens. Shuttered fronts on the right and posters in the windows on the left mark this angle.
