Tosabori River, Yodoyabashi Live Cam

This view looks along the Tosabori River toward the Yodoyabashi area in the Nakanoshima district of central Osaka. A road bridge crosses the water in the middle distance, framed by office towers and tree-lined embankments.

Nakanoshima is a narrow river island between the Tosabori and Dojima rivers, home to museums, public buildings and offices. The camera looks out from an upper floor of Nakanoshima Festival Tower on the southern edge of the island. Yodoyabashi, the business district around the bridge of the same name, lies a few hundred meters to the east.

The camera turns slowly from side to side, so the river shifts between the left and the center of the picture while the bridges and towers stay in view. By day the stone-lined channel and the trees along the island bank are clear; after dark the bridges and office windows are lit.
