Itami Airport Runway 32L Approach Live Cam

This telephoto view follows jets on short final to Runway 32L at Osaka’s Itami Airport, with the Hokusetsu hills rising behind. Arriving aircraft appear nose-on above the airfield, just beyond a row of nearby rooftops.

Osaka International Airport, better known as Itami Airport, lies about 11 kilometres north of central Osaka. Since Kansai International Airport opened in 1994, it has served domestic routes only. Runway 32L is the longer of its two parallel runways, at 3,000 metres.

The long lens compresses the distance, so the hills seem to stand right behind the runway, with housing estates spread across their lower slopes. Unlike the elevated camera that looks down on both runway ends, this one is aimed along the approach path itself.
