The tracks beside Saitama-Shintoshin station run below this view, north of Tokyo in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. A commuter train passes below the lens, with office towers and the arena standing behind the line.

Several routes share this corridor — the Keihin-Tohoku, Shonan-Shinjuku, Takasaki and Utsunomiya lines, plus freight — so trains pass every minute or two through the day. The district around the station was built from the 1990s on former railway land as a second centre for the metropolitan area.
