Shingashi River at Sasame Bridge, Itabashi Live Cam

This camera looks across the Shingashi River at Sasame Bridge in Itabashi, Tokyo, with a red-painted bridge girder at the upper left. A concrete flood wall with a grassy terrace runs along the far bank.

The station stands in Takashimadaira 6-chome on the Itabashi side of the river. Hayase Footbridge crosses the water about 150 m to the east, and the trunk road Shin-Omiya Bypass passes about 150 m away. Misono Water Purification Plant is roughly 360 m to the south-west, and Nishi-Takashimadaira Station on the Toei Mita Line about 480 m to the south.

The camera sits low, just above the water. Ribbed steel sheet piles line the foot of the far wall, and behind it a green levee slope with a road on top rises toward the sky. The calm surface mirrors the bank in the lower half of the frame.
