Shingashi River at Ukima Bridge, Kita Live Cam

This camera watches the Shingashi River at Ukima in Kita, Tokyo, from a grassy bank above a stone-paved riverside terrace. A teal steel truss bridge crosses the water ahead, in front of a long elevated viaduct.

The station stands in Ukima 1-chome on the Kita side of the river, about 130 m from Ukima Bridge, which lies to the south-west. Kita-Akabane Station is about 150 m away in the same direction, Ukima Library about 400 m to the north-west and Fukuro Elementary School roughly 450 m to the south. The Shingashi River rises in Kawagoe and ends at the Sumida River.

What sets this view apart is the terrace at the water's edge, paved with irregular stones and fenced by a dark metal railing that runs toward the bridge. A broad grass slope fills the foreground, and a white gauge post stands beside the railing.
