Shingashi River at Shingashi Bridge, Kita Live Cam

This camera watches the Shingashi River at Ukima in Kita, Tokyo, from the bank, with Shingashi Bridge, a green steel arch bridge, overhead. The name of the bridge is painted in hiragana along its girder above the river.

The camera is in Ukima 4-chome, on the Kita side of the river. Shingashi East Park lies about 350 m away, and Ukima Tsuribori Park, a fishing park, about 450 m. Ukimafunado Station is about 550 m away. The Shingashi River flows from Kawagoe to the Sumida River at Iwabuchi.

What sets this view apart is the working waterfront behind the bridge. Large warehouse buildings rise beyond the opposite bank, and in the frames reviewed a moored work barge with a crane sits against a concrete quay. The water surface fills the lower half of the picture, and the sunlit ripples make it easy to judge the flow.
