Shingashi River at Shimo Bridge, Kita Live Cam

This camera looks across the broad Shingashi River at Shimo in Kita, Tokyo, toward Shimo Bridge, a low girder road bridge. Grassy embankments with a concrete edge line the far bank, and a paved path runs down the near slope.

The camera stands in Shimo 5-chome in the northern part of Kita Ward. Shimo Yurinoki Park lies about 150 m away, and Iwabuchi Elementary School about 400 m away. The Shingashi River rises in Kawagoe and ends nearby, where it joins the Sumida River close to the Iwabuchi Sluice Gate.

The view is wide and open, with a long stretch of water between the near-bank slope and the bridge. A white multi-storey building stands behind the far embankment, while streetlights and a railing run along the bridge deck. A short metal post stands at the foot of the near slope.
