Weather and time
This camera looks across the Shakujii River at Kubota Bridge in Itabashi, Tokyo, toward a tall concrete wall stained with moss. A multicolored water-level scale and a pale gauge post stand against the wall above the stream.
The station is in Futaba-cho, close to Naka-Itabashi Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, which is about 200 m away. Nakaitabashi Children's Hall stands roughly 150 m from the bridge, and Fujimi-Nishi Children's Park and a temple lie about 200 m off. The Shakujii River flows through northern Tokyo into the Sumida River.
The frame is a head-on look at the riverside wall rather than a long reach of water. A low step in the riverbed at the lower left turns the current white, and the red steel underside of a bridge enters at the upper right. A metal railing runs along the top of the wall.
