Egota River at Nishihara Bridge, Nakano Live Cam

This camera watches the Egota River at Nishihara Bridge in Nakano, looking up a wide concrete channel towards a low road bridge. A stone-block wall rises on the left, and a raised edge splits the broad bed in two lengthwise.

The station is in the Egota 3-chome district, where Egota-dori Avenue crosses the river on this bridge. Tofuku-ji Temple stands about 100 m away, Egota Hikawa Shrine roughly 180 m, and Egota no Mori Park a little under 300 m. Egota Elementary School is about 340 m off. The river rises in Nerima and joins the Myoshoji River in Nakano.

The bridge deck closes the top of the frame like a lintel, and the channel runs on into the shade beneath it. A small gauge is set into the stone wall on the left, with a fence and a palm-like plant behind it, while a concrete parapet and a green slope of climbing plants line the right bank.
