Weather and time
This camera at Rosei Bridge in Yamatocho, Nakano, looks across the Myoshoji River at a long wall of concrete blocks. A tall multicolored gauge staff with a crossbar marker is fixed to the middle of the wall, with a metal fence running along the top.
The bridge sits in a residential part of Yamatocho, with the small Mibato Park only a few dozen metres away. Wakasagi Park is about 200 m to the north-west and Mibato Elementary School roughly 350 m to the south-east. The Myoshoji River starts at Myoshoji Pond in Suginami and flows east through Nakano on its way to the Kanda River.
The frame is filled by the wall, whose even rows of blocks make it easy to read the staff, and below it a paved strip runs the whole width of the view. Weeds mark the bottom edge. The camera holds this one angle.
