Zenpukuji River at Aioi Bridge, Suginami Live Cam

This camera looks down at the Zenpukuji River from Aioi Bridge in Naritanishi, Suginami, along a straight wall of concrete panels. A ladder-style gauge staff climbs the grassy slope above the wall.

The station stands in the Naritanishi 3-chome district of Suginami. Ozaki Bridge, which carries a main road across the river, is about 70 m away, and Zenpukuji-gawa Park stretches along the river some 120 m off. Suginami Daini Elementary School is about 150 m from the bridge.

The view is a steep look at one bank rather than a wide river scene. Pale panels form the retaining wall, with a white gauge pole and a short access ladder fixed to it at the waterline. Above the wall a ledge of loose stones, a bank of low shrubs and a fence beneath a tree fill the upper half of the picture, and the water below is dark and almost still.
