Shakujii River at Kaga Bridge, Itabashi Live Cam

This camera looks down from Kaga Bridge in Kaga, Itabashi, into a deep Shakujii River channel walled with tall ivy-covered concrete. A metal ladder climbs the far wall beside a red water-level marker, and the bridge railing runs along the right edge of the frame.

The camera stands in Kaga 1-chome, Itabashi. Kaga Park and Higashi Itabashi Library are both about 200 m away, and Shin-itabashi Station is roughly 600 m off. The Shakujii River rises in Kodaira and joins the Sumida River in Kita, and through much of Itabashi its banks are lined with cherry trees.

The channel is narrow and sheer-sided, so the picture is mostly wall surface, with streaks of green growth down the concrete. Small grass planters sit on the ledge at the lower left, and a dark strip of water shows at the bottom.
