Weather and time
This camera looks across a narrow stretch of the Shirako River at Miya no Hashi in Higashi-Oizumi, Nerima, toward a high concrete wall. A tall red-and-green staff gauge stands in the middle of the wall, and a mesh fence runs along the top.
The station is in Higashi-Oizumi 4-chome, in western Nerima. The temple Honshoji, Kitano Shrine and Oizumi Elementary School all stand within about 200 m, as does Oizumi Nakajima Park. Oizumigakuen Station is about 600 m away. The Shirako River is a tributary of the Shingashi River.
Nearly the whole frame is the wall, pale concrete streaked by seepage, with three short white drain pipes set into it. The stream is a thin dark strip along the bottom of the frame. A pale blue-green edge of a bridge deck is visible at the upper right.
