Shirako River at Matsudono Bridge, Nerima Live Cam

This camera at Matsudono Bridge faces a high concrete retaining wall across the upper Shirako River in Nerima, Tokyo. The narrow channel below is almost filled with dense green plants, with only patches of water showing between them.

The station stands in Higashi-Oizumi 7-chome, in western Nerima. The Seibu Ikebukuro Line runs about 200 m away, and Oizumi Igashira Park, near where the river rises, is a short walk. Higashi-Oizumi Akebono Green Space lies close by, and Oizumi-Minami Elementary School is some 400 m off.

The view is a flat, close look at the bank rather than a wide river scene. A blue-green mesh fence runs along the top of the wall, and a white gauge post carries a red water-level sign and a purple plate. The wall is built of pale concrete blocks partly covered by creepers.
