Shakujii River at Atago Bridge, Nerima Live Cam

This camera looks along the Shakujii River at Atago Bridge in Kamishakujii, Nerima, down a shallow stream beside a long block wall. Grass and shrubs cover the left bank behind a dark metal railing.

The station stands in Kamishakujii 3-chome, in western Nerima. Waseda University Senior High School is about 150 m away, and Kamishakujii-kita Elementary School lies some 350 m off. Shakujii Hikawa Shrine is a short walk of about 500 m.

Here the channel looks more like a natural stream than a concrete ditch. The current ripples over a stony bed, with clumps of grass and green algae breaking the surface. A railing and a footpath run along the top of the block wall, and a colored gauge stripe marks the edge of the wall at the lower right.
