Weather and time
This camera looks down the Ochiai River at the Kuromebashi Flood Control Basin intake in Higashikurume from a fenced path. A shallow stream winds over a pale gravel bed between weedy banks.
The camera stands in Shinhocho. Tokyo Dome Sports Center Higashikurume is about 100 m to the north-west, Sengen Shrine about 180 m to the south and Keyaki Children's Hall about 190 m to the north-east. Daimon Junior High School is roughly 230 m to the west. The Ochiai River rises in Yawata-cho and joins the Kurome River near here.
The view runs a long way down the narrow channel. A mesh fence runs beside the path on the near side, while a tall concrete wall rises on the far side with a white railing and a planted strip along its top.
