Weather and time
This camera watches the Kurome River from the Shimoda Bridge area in Koyama, Higashikurume, where a shallow channel runs between grassy banks. A white road bridge crosses the water at the upper left, and a fenced concrete wall rises along the far bank.
Koyama is a quiet residential district in the north of Higashikurume. Shimoda Plaza, a small public green space, lies right beside the bridge, and Koyamadai Archaeological Park is about 250 m to the north. A university-affiliated special school stands roughly 150 m to the east. The Kurome River rises in Kodaira and flows east through the city.
The view looks across a bend, with a wide grassy bank filling the middle of the frame and the clear, shallow water rippling past in front of it. A dark railing runs along the near bank at the lower left, and the camera keeps the same fixed view of this stretch.
