Weather and time
This camera looks along the Ochiai River from a bank path at Tateno Nino Bridge in Higashikurume toward a bridge with pale-blue railings. A grassy sandbar splits the channel beside a tall concrete wall with a red-and-green gauge staff.
The station is in Honcho 1-chome, about 350 m south of Higashikurume Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, whose tracks pass roughly 150 m to the east. Chikurin Park, known for its springs, lies about 250 m to the south, and Christian Academy in Japan stands about 250 m to the north-east. The Ochiai River rises in Yawata-cho and joins the Kurome River.
The camera sits behind a dark railing above a reddish paved footpath, with shrubs crowding the right edge. A fenced walkway runs along the top of the concrete wall opposite, and the stream curls around the sandbar toward the bridge.
