Weather and time
This camera looks across the shallow Yanase River beside the red-painted Kanayama Bridge in Kiyose, Tokyo. A stone-faced bank with a low fence rises on the far side of the rippling stream.
The station stands in Nakazato 6-chome, and Kiyose Kanayama Green Park lies only about 50 m away. Kiyose City Hall is roughly 500 m from the bridge. The Yanase River rises at Yamaguchi Reservoir in Tokorozawa and later joins the Shingashi River.
The red girder of the bridge runs diagonally across the right of the frame, with two triangular steel guards hanging above the water. Short wooden posts stand in the shallows near the bank, and a patch of lawn lies behind the fence on the left. Part of the stream lies in the bridge's shadow, with the rest open to the sun.
