Marshall Depot Curve, Texas Live Cam

This camera at the Marshall depot in Texas watches two Union Pacific tracks sweeping in a long curve to the right past a wooded bank. A concrete pad and a black iron fence sit beside the near track.

The depot is a 1912 Texas and Pacific building that now holds a railway museum. Here the Union Pacific Little Rock Subdivision meets the Reisor Subdivision, with Union Pacific freights, BNSF trains on trackage rights and Amtrak’s Texas Eagle, trains 21 westbound and 22 eastbound.

It is one of two movable cameras at the depot; the other looks across the yard toward the overpass. During the day the framing shifts in tilt and zoom, showing more or less of the tree line and the near rails, and a longer freight can be seen coming around the bend.
