Fisherman's Wharf, Tamsui Live Cam

This camera overlooks the boat harbour at Fisherman's Wharf in Tamsui, where a white pedestrian bridge spans the harbour mouth. The view changes between the moored boats, the bridge and breakwater, and the open sea.

Fisherman's Wharf lies on the right bank of the Tamsui River mouth, where the river reaches the Taiwan Strait. The harbour began as the Tamsui Second Fishing Port, and its docks float up and down with the tide. The breakwater boardwalk with its straw parasols and the pylon of the Lover's Bridge make the place easy to recognise.

By day one view looks down on the boats, another follows the breakwater towards the bridge, and a third faces south across the river to the Bali shore below Guanyin Mountain. At dusk the camera turns to the sea as the sun sets beside the bridge, and after dark the bridge and boardwalk are lit.
