Bishan Temple, Neihu Live Cam

This live view from Bishan Temple in Neihu looks south across green hills to the Taipei skyline, with Taipei 101 rising on the horizon. Residential blocks of Neihu fill the valleys between forested ridges in the foreground.

Bishan Temple is a hilltop shrine to the Kaizhang Sacred King on a ridge above Neihu District in the north-east of the city. The terrace in front of the temple is a well-known lookout, taking in a broad sweep of the Taipei Basin from Nangang to the central districts. The Keelung River winds through the lowland below, and the towers of Xinyi stand out against the mountains to the south.

The camera rotates between the wide panorama and zoomed views of the city centre, including the Xinyi skyline and the arched bridges over the Keelung River. Unlike the Xiangshan view, it shows downtown from the north, across the river valley.
