Weather and time
Four camera panels follow traffic on the Danjiang Bridge, the cable-stayed crossing over the mouth of the Tamsui River in New Taipei. The upper left view looks along the curving deck towards the single white pylon, with the river on the left and the far bank behind it.
The bridge opened to traffic in May 2026 and links the Bali and Tamsui districts across the river mouth. Its 920-metre deck hangs from one pylon about 200 metres tall, and the 450-metre main span makes it the longest single-pylon asymmetric cable-stayed bridge in the world. Zaha Hadid Architects designed it.
The upper right panel shows a wide approach viaduct with the character for slow painted on the lanes. The lower panels sit on the deck: one looks between fans of stay cables towards high-rise buildings, the other stands beside the white cable anchors as the lanes curve away.
