Erliao Sunrise Viewing Platform, Zuozhen Live Cam

This webcam looks out from the Erliao sunrise viewing platform over the forested badland hills of Zuozhen District in Tainan. Pale, eroded mudstone ridges show through the green woodland, with long mountain ridges on the horizon.

The platform stands by Erliao Village in the hills of Zuozhen District, inside the Siraya National Scenic Area. Taiwanese landscape photographers know it as a low-elevation spot for sunrise and valley cloud. The bare grey slopes around it belong to the badlands often called Moon World (Yueshijie). Parking and restrooms are nearby.

The camera does not hold one frame. During the day it moves between a wide panorama of hills under open sky, a view along the deck railings with badlands beyond, and a close zoom on the eroded ridges. Only the railing view shows the platform itself.
