Shengli Farm, Fanlu Live Cam

This camera looks from Shengli Farm over the tea terraces and rooftops of Xiding in Fanlu Township, Chiayi County. In its main view a forested hill with a small tower on the summit rises above the village.

Xiding is a mountain locality on the Alishan Highway at about 1,250 meters above sea level, inside the Alishan National Scenic Area. Neat rows of tea cover the slopes around the houses, and the Xiangshan viewing platform stands right beside the farm.

The picture does not stay on one spot. Early in the morning the camera is aimed at the horizon where the sun comes up over layered ridges, and later it moves between the tea rows in the foreground, the village hill and a wide forested valley. Cloud sometimes drifts across the ridge, and at dusk the view shows the village lights.
