Fenqihu Village, Zhuqi Live Cam

This camera looks over the railway yard and village square of Fenqihu, a mountain settlement in Zhuqi Township, Chiayi County. Station tracks, a road crossing and the forested slopes around the houses all appear in its views.

Fenqihu lies at about 1,400 meters on the Alishan Forest Railway, a narrow-gauge line opened in 1912 that climbs from the Chiayi plain. The village grew around its station, where trains once made long stops, and it is still known for railway lunch boxes. The old street of food and souvenir shops is a short walk away.

The camera moves between several views during the day. One view looks down on the platform and tracks, another covers the plaza and the barrier crossing at a bend in the road, and others frame a large wooden building with a gray roof, village rooftops and the ridge behind them.
