Caoxiedun Night Market, Caotun Live Cam

Caotun is an urban township in the northwest of Nantou County, and Caoxiedun is its historical name, replaced under Japanese rule in 1920. The night market usually opens on weekend evenings and is known for its food and game stalls. On market nights the empty lot fills with rows of stalls and visitors.

This is one of two fixed cameras at the market and the one that faces its sign; the other looks along a long open lot. Trees and a brick building line the left edge, railed walkways run along the top of the stacked containers, and wooded hills rise beyond the rooftops.
