Chehalis sits on BNSF's Seattle Subdivision, the main line between Portland and Tacoma. Union Pacific trains also run here under trackage rights, and Amtrak's Cascades and Coast Starlight follow the same corridor, with the nearest station in Centralia about four miles north.
