Platform Works at Sector O, Amsterdam Centraal Live Cam

This camera looks along a platform under the historic roof of Amsterdam Centraal, with the sector O sign nearby. Scaffolding, fences and a row of yellow work wagons show the platform works in progress.

Amsterdam Centraal is the main railway station of Amsterdam, built on artificial islands in the IJ and opened in 1889. Its platforms are being widened and lengthened, and the station stays open while the work goes on. Letters on signs along each platform mark its sectors.

From sector O the view runs toward the letters N, M and L, past a departure board and a blue-and-yellow train on the next track. On the right a worksite track with yellow wagons carrying timber runs beside concrete elements. At the far end the arched roof opens to daylight.
