Live Construction Webcams
What construction webcams show
Construction webcams watch building projects as they happen: housing blocks, towers, bridges, roads, stations and hospitals. Developers and contractors install them to document progress and to show investors and future residents how the work is going.
The appeal is in watching something grow. Day by day the frame shows excavation, foundations, the first floors, the crane climbing higher and the façade closing in. A single visit catches cranes swinging, concrete mixers arriving and crews at work; regular visits over months reveal the whole story, and many projects publish time-lapses made from the same camera.
Work follows the site's schedule: early starts, quiet weekends and holidays, and long pauses when a project is delayed or the weather stops work. Concrete pours sometimes run late into the night under floodlights. Once a project is finished, its camera is usually taken down.
