Groningen Railway Station, NL Live Cam

Rebuilding work at the railway station in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands, is under way in this view. Red steel trusses for the new roof fill the foreground, and the old platform canopies stand behind them.

The Spoorzone project is rearranging the whole station: a pedestrian and bicycle tunnel under the tracks, a large cycle park, and a bus station moved to the south side so that buses and trains meet in one place. Work has been running for years and is due for completion in 2026.

Two views are streamed, which together cover most of the site. Cranes, track possessions and temporary platforms change the picture from month to month, so the camera works as a record of the build rather than a fixed view.
