Lake Maggiore, Pallanza Live Cam

Pallanza is one of the two main districts of Verbania, a town on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore facing the Borromean Gulf. It is known for its hotels, villas and lakeside gardens. According to the caption in the frame, the camera sits about 200 metres above sea level, only slightly higher than the lake itself.

The camera looks over a lakefront road with parked cars, a strip of lawn with palm trees and a low boathouse. A small marina and clay tennis courts line the shore on the right. In the morning the sun is behind the camera and the water is deep blue, while in the afternoon the low sun leaves a bright glitter on the lake.
