Vista Peak, Bolton Valley Live Cam

This camera on Vista Peak, the summit of the Bolton Valley ski resort in Vermont, looks down a chairlift line toward the valley. A lift tower with empty chairs stands among spruce trees, and forested ridges stretch away to the horizon.

Vista Peak rises to about 3,150 feet in the Green Mountains and is the highest point of the resort, which lies in the town of Bolton. The Vista Quad climbs roughly 955 feet from the base area to reach this spot.

The view is fixed and follows the lift line downhill, with a cluster of resort buildings lower right of centre. From the summit the eye runs over several ridges in a row; outside the ski season the clearing under the tower is grass, while the spruce around it stay green all year.
