Birdcage Lodge, Mad River Glen Live Cam

This camera at the Birdcage lodge on the slopes of Mad River Glen in Fayston, Vermont, looks down a chairlift line to the base area. Grey lodge buildings, a parking lot and a curving road appear far below the lift towers.

Mad River Glen is a ski area on General Stark Mountain in Washington County, Vermont, about 8 km west of Waitsfield. The Birdcage is the small on-mountain lodge at the foot of the Birdland chairlift, around 2,100 feet (640 m) above sea level and roughly 130 m higher than the base area. From this height the camera sees past the lift line and the lodge roofs to the road beyond.

The camera turns between several views. One shows the lodge buildings and the lot from above, another a hillside with a lift line and a service building topped with cellular antennas, and another a red marked stake with a round dial thermometer.
