The Glacier Express Doppelmayer D-Line chairlift was planned to replace the T-bar lifts 3 Marjalaki and 2 Hemmo. The area also has LED lighting, and Finland's first glacier was built with advanced snowmaking and snow preservation methods. The planned opening date for the chairlift was December 3, 2022, in Kittilä municipality.
