Queen Street, 88, Toronto Live Cam

Toronto has run more high-rise projects at once than any other city in North America for most of the last fifteen years, and cameras like this one are ordinary equipment on them: a time-lapse for the developer and a record for the contract.

Queen Street was surveyed as the first east-west line of the town grid in the 1790s, and everything north of it was measured off that line. The western end turned into the arts and music quarter of the city in the 1980s.
