Toronto CN Tower & Gardiner Highway Live Cam

Downtown Toronto runs east from this webcam towards the CN Tower and Lake Ontario, in Ontario, Canada. Condominium towers fill the middle of the frame, and the Gardiner Expressway runs along the waterfront below them.

The CN Tower is 553 metres tall, was finished in 1976 and held the record for the tallest free-standing structure until 2010. At its foot stands the Rogers Centre, the domed stadium of the Blue Jays, and beyond it the harbour and the ferry route to the Toronto Islands.

Construction cranes are a permanent feature of this frame: the blocks between the expressway and the lake have been going up continuously for two decades. The tower is lit after dark, with the colours changed for events.
