UW Red Square, WA Live Cam

The large red brick square on this live webcam, known as Red Square, is at the University of Washington in Seattle. It is officially called Central Plaza and connects the Liberal Arts upper campus, known as The Quad, with the engineering and science buildings on the lower campus.

The university, in Washington State, was established in 1861 and is one of the most respected in the United States. The Collegiate Gothic building on the left is Suzzallo Library, the university's central library.
