Krakonoš Square, Trutnov Live Cam

This camera looks south-west from a church tower over Krakonoš Square, the main square in the centre of Trutnov. Arcaded townhouses frame the square, with a wooded hill rising behind the roofs.

Trutnov lies in the Hradec Králové Region, in the foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains and not far from the Polish border. Krakonoš Square is the historic heart of the old town, lined with multi-storey townhouses, many with ground-floor arcades. The camera sits high on the tower of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, a short walk from the square, so the picture looks down over the roofs.

The paved square with its trees, fountain and parked cars lies in the middle, a slender tower with a dark spire rises beside it, and the forested hillside fills the left. Other cameras on the same tower face north-east and north-west.
