Stork Nest on Brewery Chimney, Trutnov Live Cam

This camera looks into a large stork nest built on top of the brewery chimney in the centre of Trutnov. Behind the nest the view opens over the town's rooftops, a church tower and wooded hills.

Trutnov is a town in the Hradec Králové Region, on the edge of the Krkonoše Mountains. The nest stands on the chimney of the Krakonoš brewery, a few hundred metres from the old town. The camera shows it from just above, as a wide platform of branches lined with wood chips, with red supports at its edge.

In the nesting season the birds occupy the nest; in autumn and winter it normally stands empty, and the frame then shows mainly the nest itself and the town panorama behind it.
