Pec pod Sněžkou Center, Krkonoše Live Cam

This camera overlooks the centre of Pec pod Sněžkou from a hillside hotel high above the village in the Krkonoše mountains. Chalets and apartment blocks fill the valley bottom, and a hairpin road curves through the lower right of the frame.

Pec pod Sněžkou lies in the Trutnov District of the Hradec Králové Region, at the foot of Sněžka, the highest mountain in Czechia. It is a main hiking and ski base of the Krkonoše, and the cableway to Sněžka starts here. Spruce forest and mountain meadows with farmhouses cover the surrounding slopes.

The camera is fixed and looks along the valley and down at the village streets, so the Sněžka summit is not in the frame. A ski trail scar is visible on the forested ridge at the upper right.
