Trutnov Panorama towards Krkonoše Live Cam

This camera looks north-west from a church tower over the railway line and the town centre of Trutnov. On a clear day the long ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains closes the horizon.

Trutnov lies in the Hradec Králové Region, in the valley of the Úpa river on the edge of the Krkonoše Mountains. The railway runs through the town just below the old centre, and the main railway station and the bus station stand north-west of the church, in the direction the camera faces. The UFFO cultural centre also lies on this side of the centre.

Compared with the south-west view of Krakonoš Square from the same tower, this frame is wider and more open: the railway line and a road cross the middle of the picture, older townhouses fill the foreground, apartment blocks stand on the left and residential hillsides rise on the right, with the mountains far behind.
