Valašské Klobouky Live Cam

The main square of Valašské Klobouky doubles as a car park, ringed by pastel townhouses under a church tower in eastern Moravia. The webcam turns slowly across it from the town museum on the north side.

The museum holds Wallachian craft collections: tools, painted furniture and household objects from the villages of the southern White Carpathians. The range behind the town is a UNESCO biosphere reserve, valued for hay meadows with an unusually high count of plant species.

Every December the square fills for the Mikulášský jarmek, a fair with masked figures walking among the stalls. The town lies in the valley of the Klobučka, close to the Slovak border in the Zlín Region.
