St. Paul Snelling Avenue Overpass, Minnesota Live Cam

Beside Energy Park Drive in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the camera looks east across a wide fan of tracks toward the Snelling Avenue overpass. Containers and trailers stand in a paved lot on the far side of the rails.

The tracks are BNSF Railway's Midway Subdivision, the former Great Northern mainline linking the 3rd Street area of St. Paul with Minneapolis, with a 40 mph speed limit. Freight here includes intermodal and bulk trains.

A utility pole with transformers stands in the middle of the frame, a radio mast rises behind the trees, and a paved path and lawn fill the lower left corner. The overpass carries road traffic across the tracks on the left, and houses and a few taller buildings show above the tree line.
