Agate Bay, Two Harbors Live Cam

This camera looks out over Agate Bay in Two Harbors, Minnesota, from a vantage point above the shoreline. A long breakwater with a small light tower stretches across the middle of the frame.

The camera takes its name from the historic Duluth and Iron Range Railroad depot in town, built in 1907 and now home to a local history museum. Two Harbors lies on the North Shore of Lake Superior, about 25 miles northeast of Duluth, and grew around the railroad and the ore docks that load freighters in Agate Bay.

The view is fixed and wide, with autumn trees along the bottom edge, open water, a low horizon on the lake and the steel framework of an ore dock at the right edge. Unlike the nearby boat launch view, it shows the bay from higher ground.
