Harbor Plaza, Duluth Live Cam

A wide view across the Duluth inner harbor toward the Aerial Lift Bridge, taken from the roof of the Great Lakes Aquarium. The Harbor Plaza promenade runs along the left edge of the frame, past a large DULUTH sign in the foreground.

Harbor Plaza is the waterfront promenade at the foot of the aquarium, with wide walkways, benches and planted beds along the harbor edge, where cruise ships occasionally tie up. On the far shore stand the brick buildings of Canal Park, which end at the bridge over the Duluth Ship Canal. Open water of Lake Superior shows on the horizon behind them.

The camera is fixed and looks along the harbor edge, so the bridge is a distant landmark at the right of the frame and the water of the harbor fills the center. Boats and walkers on the promenade are easy to follow here, and the long view over the water shows the weather.
