Tiger Woodland, Amersfoort Zoo Live Cam

A fixed, elevated view into the wooded part of the Siberian tiger enclosure at Amersfoort Zoo, centred on a tall bare tree trunk. Behind it, a rocky mound with shrubs and bamboo rises toward the back fence.

Siberian tigers, also known as Amur tigers, are the northernmost tigers in the wild. They live in the cold mixed forests of the Russian Far East and north-east China, where snow covers the ground for months. The zoo itself stands among woods on the western edge of Amersfoort, and mature trees shade much of this enclosure.

Compared with the camera over the pool, this angle shows more planting and less open ground. Bushy trees fill the left side, root stumps lie on the trodden earth, and a blue container hangs from a rope near the mound on the right.
