Shimosuwa Rowing Park Docks, Lake Suwa Live Cam

This camera watches the floating docks of Shimosuwa Rowing Park from above the shore, with a long mountain ridge rising beyond Lake Suwa. A concrete slipway and a grassy point with tall slender poplars run along the right side, with park buildings at the edge of the frame.

The docks belong to the rowing base of the town of Shimosuwa on the northern shore of Lake Suwa. The local rowing association holds regattas and rowing classes for children at the park, and the large lakeside Akasunasaki Park lies a short walk to the southwest.

A railing runs across the foreground, and below it two long docks and a blue floating pontoon with a motorboat tied alongside sit on the water, while the open lake spreads to the left toward the distant shore.
